I suggest that he talk a walk through the cemetery at Omaha Beach and experience the souls of over 9000 heroes who died, just so that he could make such an ass of himself.

ON IRAN

Eli Stephens of the Lefti On the News writes:

“Danny, this is absurd. Iran doesn’t even have nuclear power, nevertheless nuclear weapons. They have denied any intent to ever have nuclear weapons, and Ahmadinejad CERTAINLY didn’t say anything about planning or even wanted to “nuke Israel.” What he said was that Israel should be “wiped off the map,” and as I discussed here: http://lefti.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_lefti_archive.html#113069891058325659, there is no reason whatsoever to assume that that comment was meant anything other than literally, i.e., referring to a political realignment of the Middle East which would result in the current State of Israel no longer being on the map. He uttered NOT ONE WORD against “Israelis” or “Jews” in his comments, and I’m surprised to see you spreading such nonsense.

“Does Ahmadinejad secretly harbor desires or even plans to “kill all the Jews” or “kill all the Israelis”? Perhaps (although I doubt it), but his comments last month were in no way proof or even indicative of that.”

SINGING ALONG WITH ROSA PARKS

I spent some time on the weekend watching the Rosa Marks funeral repeat on CSPAN. I though Bishop Allan was the most dynamic of the speakers. His voice rose and fell like a musician singing a song. He was inspired. Apparently Rosa Marks was inspired by music too as Jody Kolodzey passes along what reads like an excerpt from the woman friends call Mother Parks’ autobiography or an interview.
