A NOT UNRELATED QUESTION
Sandy Pliskin writes from Dorchester, MA:
?Many thanks for keeping us informed and giving a fighting chance!
I’ve got a question for you and your readers. Just before I heard that Harriet Miers had withdrawn her name from consideration for the Supremes, I heard an interesting report. It indicated that the Senate was going to call as a witness someone who claimed that Miers had intervened to stop an investigation or prosecution against someone who had helped W. stay out of the army. Is there any reason to think that her withdrawal might have been timed to prevent the questioning of W’s accuser?
I had’t heard this. Mmmmmmmmmmm
