Blood in the Water

It’s a feeding frenzy on Fox News Channel’s "Hannity and Colmes" as Danny weighs in on the Eason Jordan controversy. (Also see Danny’s entry "Were Journalists Targeted in Iraq?")

Here’s audio of the entire segment. (6min, 20sec)

Trouble listening?

I raked your sorry ass over the coals after that fradulent Newsday piece on bloggers back after the Rather fiasco. You defended a loser then and are defending another loser now in Eason Jordan.
I guess you far leftwingers need to band together. If you had a shred of cred, you might try and be independent.

And someone needs to teach you how to dress. You looked awful on H&C. I guess there’s not much to work with considering how ugly you are, but you might want to see a tailor and get some better fitting threads.

Oh, and before you defend the anti-American Eason Jordan, you should first review his comments.

We hope everyone comes to the Universe and Planetary Tribunal on Iraq. It is March 1 at Mandy and Bill’s house in Wilmington, DE. BYOB and a healthy snack to share. All manifestos welcome. Parking on the side streets.

Wow. One day Americans like Marty will once again realize that it’s more important to have a clear picture of the world than to have your eyes sealed shut by emotion. Thank patient Jesus Mr. Schechter does what he does: trudge through attacks on his clothing (!) and veracity and countless hours of crossfire, friendly fire and hellfire to tell us what these people go through on their way to not giving us the news. Thanks Mr. Schechter!

    Marty Says:

I have avery clear picture. My side keeps winning, and you keep losing. How’s that for critical, reasoned thought?

I realise it is important to maintain an open forum on this site. But ignorant, or self-promoting, comments - like those of marty and val respectively - really beg the question of whether some form of cencorship should be used, to maintain some level of intelligent argument — i realise the pitfalls, and that personal judgement on what is “intellignet argument” is probably too wide to implement any such system but I’m just pointing this out.

The new site design is great — audio blog is a great addition, and instant comments do add much to the site.. i just would like to see some more valid arguments than ignorant rants about danny’s appearance.

    Marty,

One of the links I posted above is defunct. I apologize. Here is the correct address for an excellent resource:

Marty, by behaving like an idiot, you disgrace yourself and your cause (whatever it is). I guessed that you have not acquired the skills you need to get your point across and defend it, so I offered the links to help.

As for ’sides,’ I don’t know what you are talking about. I am not at war with my fellow countrymen, are you?

Game Over. I have reluctantly disabled the comments on my blog because a small number of self-indulgent spammers and neer do wells with nothing to say about any of the issues I raise or report on, have stepped up the volume of their sniping and SPA's--Stupid personal attacks. I am sure readers find them as offensive and adolescent as I do. All hide behind anonymous emails and never really want replies or a dialogue. Snarky is one thing; insults another.

Your comments are welcome and I am happy to post them in the blog. Share comments, questions and criticisms by emailing me here.

    Thank you for understanding.

"Curtailment of free speech is rationalized on grounds that a more compelling American tradition forbids criticism of the government when the nation is at war...Nothing can be more destructive of our fundamental democratic traditions than the vicious effort to silence dissenters."
