AP reports: “Liberal talk radio shows are beginning to find a place in American broadcasting after years of dominance by Rush Limbaugh and his conservative cohorts.
“Despite the fresh infusion of high-profile names into market — including Jerry Springer, whose program started last week on WCKY-AM — no liberal talk show host can yet claim the clout of Limbaugh, whose show is heard on nearly 600 stations and reaches an audience of about 20 million each week.

FROM EBAY: TALK SHOW HOST FOR SALE
“Hey—Where’s MY gravy?”
“That’s my question after finding out my fellow conservatives like Armstrong Williams and Maggie Gallagher are on the “cash for commentary ” bandwagon. Why not me?
“Since the Bush Administration hasn’t called (yet), I’m dropping a not-so-subtle hint that I, too, have bills to pay. TWO NEWSPAPERS—WHAT FACT GETS LEFT OUT?

“For comparison however, let’s look at how the Newark Star-Ledger covered the same story:
“Defense attorney Jeffrey Patti, 36, of Sparta, who is married with two daughters, ages 2 and 6 months, is well-known in Sussex County, where news of the arrest stunned acquaintances. Patti and his father, Frank, are partners in a Sparta law firm, and he also serves as the municipal chairman of the Sussex County Republican Committee.”
